Katie’s Buddy Bench
Katie's Buddy Bench program operates in partnership with several local schools, Trex, Amazon, Grove, and other local warehouses. This educational program promotes kindness, inclusion, and sustainability. Students collaborate to collect soft plastic while learning about the importance of recycling, inclusion, and supporting each other. Once a school collects 1,000 pounds of soft plastic, they receive a buddy bench made by Trex from the collected plastic. The students compete to earn a snack party for the entire school, and the grade that collects the most wins a prize from Katie's Magical Warehouse for each student in the winning grade.
